Hello everyone and Hello Friday!

Another week has passed quickly, and it has been my pleasure to share a few of my layouts with you. I realize looking back at them that I seem to have shared layouts with a certain theme of family legacy and gifts from the heart, remembering loved ones and creating memories with parents. A bit of a departure from my usual focus on my children and one that I have really enjoyed.

Let’s take a look at the projects:

  1. Happiness is a Gift from the Heart

Hello,

With Spring finally here, and all the inspiration from this month’s mood board (see the forum or our social media pages for the beautiful board created by Paige) I was able to create some different layouts using a variety of products from the store and a lot of stitching.

Here is a quick review of my projects:

  1.  Sweet Forever

I had lots of fun creating all these projects this month ( i even had time to create a layout from all the scraps).  Thank you for taking the time to review some of my work.

See you soon!

Hello everyone. This week I’ve been working with the Simple Stories Simple Set Heart collection. This collection is all about sharing pages of our loved ones, those who are still with us, and also those who have passed on. It’s hard to find good products that allow us to share our memories in such a meaningful and tasteful way. This collection does it beautifully with a tender, soothing color palette and touching titles and quotes about always remembering those who are always in our heart.

My first project was all about a dear friend who will forever be in my heart!

This layout was also used in the tutorial for this week on how you can foil your stamped images.

The next two projects were all about my family. I love that this collection works equally well for loved ones whether they are still with us, or just in our hearts.

Both of these layouts will be available as a layout kit in the Scrapbook Nerd store, so be sure to watch for them.

Thanks for checking out my projects this week. I hope they have inspired to create something about your loved ones.

Hi everyone. Welcome back to another tutorial.
This week I’m sharing a video tutorial on how you can foil your stamped images.

Ever since I’ve started playing around with my Deco Foils, I’ve been itching to try and see if I could somehow apply them to a stamped image. Everything that I tried wasn’t working. So, I started researching online and came across a tutorial from Jennifer McGuire. She shared this technique. It works fairly well and I was fairly happy with the results. The foil will scratch off if you really try- and I mean really try with your fingernail. Since my project will be inside a page protector, I’m to too worried about that.

Thanks for checking out the tutorial this week. If you give this a try, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
